sur la Côte d'Azur
En 2014 Lynda Harris travaillait pour l'agence Louis Benech en tant que chef de projet, en particulier pour la rénovation d'un hôtel de luxe situé sur la Côte d'Azur.
L’Hôtel Métropole à Beaulieu-sur-mer (06) qui date de la "Belle Époque" a été construit en 1892 pour une nouvelle clientèle européenne. Le propriétaire actuel désirait rénover le bâtiment et lui redonner une fonction d’hôtel et de spa de luxe « 5 étoiles ». L’architecte d’intérieur Pierre Yovanovitch et le paysagiste Louis Benech ont été missionnés pour restaurer l’hôtel et ses jardins.
Trois terrasses seront construites entre l’hôtel et la mer pour accueillir le restaurant et un bar. Vers la mer, un jardin exotique, typique de la Côte d’Azur sera réalisé tandis que dans les jardins autour de l’hôtel, un espace de style provençal à base d’oliviers, lavande et autre essences méditerranéennes sera prévu.
Mission : Lynda était responsable de la conception du projet en phases avant-projet (APS) et projet (PRO) ainsi que pour l’élaboration du dossier de demande de permis de construire.

Gardens for a luxury hôtel
on the Côte d'Azur
In 2014, Lynda worked for Louis Benech Paysagiste as Chef de Projet (Senior Landscape Architect). One of her projects was the gardens of this historic hotel on the Côte d'Azur.
The Hôtel Métropole in Beaulieu-sur-mer dates from the "Belle Epoque" and was built in 1892, when the Côte d'Azur was attracting a new cosmopolitan clientele from across Europe. Today's owner wanted to restore the building to its previous use as a luxury five-star hotel & spa. Interior designer, Pierre Yovanovich and Landscape designer Louis Benech were tasked with the restoration of the hotel and surrounding gardens & pool area.
Three terraces were designed to lie between the main hotel building and the sea and are to be used by the restaurant and bar. These will be surrounded by an exotic garden, typical to the Côte d'Azur at the end of the 19th century. Around the main hotel buildings a Provencal-style garden will be planted with olive trees, lavender and other Mediterranean plants.
Project : Lynda was responsible for the project design from master-planning to detailed design. She also produced the documents required for an application for planning permission.
